a bit about me:
I grew up between Michigan (Midland, Dexter, Ann Arbor) and outside of Boston (Belmont / Cambridge). I'm a U of Michigan grad with degrees in English—BA in literature, sub-concentration in writing poetry—and BCN—BA in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience—and a minor in theatre.
While at U of M, I had the opportunity to work with a number of wonderful theatre organizations: Shakespeare in the Arb, The RC Players, Rude Mechanicals, and RC Drama. I acted in a few M-agination films, wrote my first plays, and was honored to receive a Hopwood award for a manuscript of poems.
I moved to New York City after college (2018) and progressed—from Starbucks to a publishing internship to a legal admin temp gig—to a for-a-real-adult-job in literary publicity, where I have the very good fortune to still be today. I love my work, I love the authors I've been able to champion, and I love my "extracurriculars"—reading, cooking & baking, writing (still), crocheting (that one's recent), and co-running the gift that is Murmuration Theatre Co. As a co-founder and acting Creative Director, I've been able to read incredible new works; be around the work of a new generation of staggeringly talented creatives and performers; direct some provocative, funny, meaningful work; and—best of all—do it all with friends.
